Manicure Tips!

A good time to do your manicure is right after taking a shower, bath, washing the clothes or the dishes. These activities soften the nail edge, and the dirt under the nails are removed.

Long Lasting Polish!

Keep polish in the refrigerator to make it last longer.

ALL ABOUT NAILS!

Do not use nail polish removers more than once in a week because this habit causes the nails to dry out. Dry nails crack and split more easily than moisturized nails. It would be best to use non-drying nail polish removers like Bobbie Nail Polish Remover. Use top coat to minimize chipping or cracking of the nail. It is also advisable to use a clear coat on natural nails to protect the nail and to help lock the moisture in. Apply cream or lotion to your hands after washing. Cleanser and soap tend to dry up your nails and skin. Also, try to keep your hands and cuticle well moisturized before bedtime by applying a cuticle oil like Bobbie Cuticle Oil. Nail stains are caused by nail polish (without application of base coat), dirt and bacteria. Use an orange wood stick with a cotton tip to remove the stain. Soak the cotton in 10 parts of water mixed with 1 part bleach, then rub the nail where the stain is. Scrub under the nails with a nail brush or toothbrush with soap and bleach solution to remove stains under the nails.
